Our strategy

tk accelis is a leading global materials distributor and service provider that is increasingly focusing on materials processing and digital supply chain services. In this transformation, we rely on our "Materials as a Service" strategy.

The world is changing rapidly due to geopolitical tensions, the increasing scarcity of resources, and the advancement of digitalization in all areas of life. These changes are making the framework conditions increasingly complex, and the entire economy is facing a major transformation.

In 2019, we initiated a comprehensive change process throughout the company, aiming to shape our future and that of our industry with foresight. We go beyond materials and answer our customer needs with an unparalleled depth and breadth of services and solutions building on customer focus, state-of-the-art technology, service excellence, and deep expertise in materials, logistics, consulting, and digital products. That’s what we call “Materials as a Service”.

Since then, we have evolved from a traditional materials trader into an intelligent, sustainable supply chain expert. From the former provider of "Materials & Services", we evolve into a company that offers “Materials as a Service.” Digital supply chain solutions have been our focus right from the start.

“In an increasingly unpredictable world in which resources are becoming ever scarcer, needs and supply chains must be managed as proactively, efficiently and resiliently as possible. With this in mind, we at tk accelis are shaping the materials business of the future.”

CEO tk accelis

The materials supply of the future: flexible, resilient, sustainable. Our approach enables us to quickly adapt to new customer needs. This allows us to benefit from industry trends and capitalize on growth opportunities.

Nearshoring

Geopolitical uncertainties are leading to an increased demand for local production and greater flexibility. Thanks to our close-knit network of branches, we can cater to this. We can provide our customers with targeted local support.

Outsourcing

Companies are outsourcing their supply chains to reduce inventories and costs due to increasing cost pressure. Demand for warehouse and logistics management services is increasing significantly. We are therefore systematically expanding our warehousing services and have become one of the top 20 providers in the USA.

Digitalization

Bits are increasingly replacing tons as value drivers in supply chains. This transformation creates opportunities to develop new business models. Customers are demanding not just materials, but also comprehensive solutions that are designed to make their supply chains more efficient, resilient, and flexible. Since we began focusing on digital solutions early on, we can now offer customers a wide range of related services.
